Transmission captures the hands-on expertise that keeps workshops, bakeries and production lines alive, and turns it into knowledge that can be passed on: to train people, not to replace them.

How Transmission works

How it works

Layer / 01

We come to your floor and film the real work: the gestures, the corrections made by hand, the quick glances, the edge cases nobody ever wrote down. No script, no staging, no interruption — your line keeps running. Capture is consented and bounded, and the expert remains the author of their own knowledge.

Layer / 02

We turn raw capture into readable knowledge: gestures broken down, decision rules, the trade’s vocabulary, the usual mistakes and how to recover from them. AI acts as archivist and editor, never as a stand-in: every entry is reviewed and approved by the person who knows.

Layer / 03

We deliver learning paths you can use on day one: guided apprenticeship, gesture sheets, annotated video, hands-on scenarios. The expert becomes a teacher instead of a dependency. We measure one thing: how long it takes a newcomer to work unsupervised.

Crafts we capture

When an expert leaves, a job doesn’t open up. A library closes.

  4. 04 Relearn from scratch
  5. 05 Craft lost

What we will never do

Our pledge

  1. 01

We do not replace the craft

None of our capture is used to train a machine meant to take the place of the person on camera. The deliverable is a learning path, not a robot.

  2. 02

    We do not monitor anyone

Capture is voluntary, time-boxed, announced, and every sequence is approved by the person involved before it enters the knowledge base. Saying no carries no consequence.

  3. 03

    The knowledge is not ours

Everything we capture remains the property of the company and its craftspeople. It is never resold, never pooled, never fed into a third-party training set.

Let’s talk

Craft worth saving in your company?

Tell us which trade worries you and who holds it. We come back with a first map of the know-how at risk, no strings attached.
